Baby must haves1.overseas infant formula
.I cannot rave enough about the overseas baby formulas. Our second baby, Ella, was exclusively nursed for her first 6 months and is now supplementing throughout the day with formula and food. Because she is and was nursing, American formulas upset her stomach for one reason or another. Either the milk was too rich, the air bubbles were too much, or she simply did not like the taste. So, we ventured into the German and UK formulas... SHE LOVES THEM! And, so do I. They do not bubble AT ALL and they are the closest to what I can provide for her. Also, the farming standards overseas are far better. Let's just say their farms are like organic farms on God given steroids. Not to mention, American formulas use toxins and manufactured sweeteners that should never be put in an itty-bitty body. I could write a blog about this alone (and probably will), but in the mean time you can read more about their goodness and why more mommies are choosing overseas formulas. --> FAQ
2. Maxi Cosi Car seat by Rachel Zoe
When picking a carseat for my littles I always strive for safety and comfort first. Jaxon has been in his Maxi Cosi for four years now, and loves it. He even complains when I put him in his daddy's truck that carries a different brand. The all around padding keeps him satisfied and the air padding technology gives me peace while driving busy roads. So, when I saw Rachel Zoe came out with her own line for Maxi Cosi, I started shopping. Her line carries all of the same features that keep Jaxon and I raving about his, as well as, premium cognac leather and oversized gold detailing that complement the classic black and white fabric for a look that is tailored to perfection.
3. Adorra™ 5-in-1 Modular Travel System - Nomad Collection
While Rachel Zoe does have a stroller in her line, the Adorra 5-In-1 travel system is what spoke to me. It is compatible with Ella's Rachel Zoe carseat, but also comes with a detachable seat that is perfect for both Ella and Jaxon. I can face it towards me for her, or face it forward for Jax. When Ella was a newborn, I could put the seat in carriage mode. This kept her comfortable and safe. It is also easy to clean. Lastly it comes with the leather detailing that gives a lux look and makes Mamma happy.
4. Baby play mat
I cannot count the number of times I've needed a place to lay Ella down for a quick second. Whether its time for a diaper change, bottle refill, or Jaxon is in need of his mommy for a quick second, Ella's play-mat has been a game changer. I can carry it around the house as needed, lay her in a spot that smells familiar, and easily wash it when needed.
5. Pampers
I've honestly never found a diaper as good as Pampers. Blowouts are rare in our home because of them, they are super soft, and they move with baby. We have tried other brands, and they simply do not compare.
6. Chicco Lullago Portable Bassinet
The Chicco LullaGo Bassinet features quick set up in seconds thanks to the convenient snap-on legs and one-piece top structure along with a generous carry bag for transport. If you travel quite a bit like we do, you will love this portable bassinet. It is easy to carry with its carry bag for storage and travel, all of the parts zip off for easy cleaning, and it has mesh windows that create a comfortable environment for baby.
7. Happy Baby Clearly Crafted Stage 2 Organic Baby Food
As you have noticed, when it comes to baby food, I can be pretty picky. So, when I found a baby food that not only was good for baby but also in a mess free clear pouch, I was sold. The mess free part is obvious, but why clear? Have you heard of the crazy Capri-Sun stories where parents found worms at the bottom of their kids drink? Um... gross! The clear packaging simply keeps my wondering mind at ease, and the yummy inside keeps Ella happy. Also, you can buy them in variety packs on Amazon which is cost friendly and easy for Mom. 8. Bumbo floor seat
A parenting essential, the Bumbo Floor Seat is the perfect first seat for your little. Its contoured design encourages good posture and helps your baby maintain a sitting position before she can sit upright on her own. Perfect for playtime, reading time and mealtime, this seat gives Ella a chance to see her surroundings from a new perspective. Also, a portion of the proceeds from every Bumbo product purchase is donated to help the underprivileged and special needs children in Bumbos hometown of Pretoria, South Africa.
9. Enfamil Slow Flow Soft Nipples - Latex-Free & BPA Free, Pack of 12
What the hospitals use! We searched, and searched, AND SEARCHED for what Ella would take other than me. Finally I pulled out what the hospital provided, put it on my Medela bottle, and FINALLY! Angels sang! The hospitals obviously know what both mommy and baby like. So, I guess this is where we say "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". You can buy them in packs of 12 on Amazon. 10. Honest City Backpack
I use my Neverfull for everyday (the name says it all for a diaper bag), but can you see my hubby carrying around a Louis Vuitton? Um, no! LOL! This backpack is perfect for both mom and dad, comes in several colors, and even has a space for your computer. The vegan leather makes it comfortable to carry, and has 5 interior pockets for all the stuff. We love it for family get aways, or if Dad is out and about with the kiddos.
11. Swaddle blankets
We honestly use these for everything. Need a bib? Swaddle. Need blanket? Swaddle. Need a swaddle? Swaddle. They are so versatile, soft on baby, and easy to wash. Not to mention how cute they are.
12. kickee pants
I really did not understand what the craze was all about until I purchased a pair for Ella. Now, I get it. They are so soft, easy to wash, and stretch to fit baby.
13. Natural wood toys
Natural wood toys are perfect for babies who want something in their hand, and feel the need to put it in their mouth. A natural beeswax/flaxseed oil is applied to the organic toy for a smooth finish. This mixed with the wood itself feels good to their gums.
ps. i have one more!

the Summer Infant Cushy Cart Cover
Ella has wanted to see the world around her since she was about 6 weeks. While shopping, she will sit in her carseat for a limited time, so I simply needed something that worked for both her little body and my sanity. I found this elephant cart cover on Amazon, and it has been a true game changer. She's not quite big enough to sit in a shopping cart or high-chair, so the elephant gives her the cushion needed to support her itty bitty self. She will now ride in a shopping cart for hours and sit in a high-chair like she apart of the conversation.
